BUYING GUIDE

How to Select DTH Tools

PerfoMax supplies DTH drilling tools for mining, quarrying, water-well, geothermal and other down-the-hole drilling applications. The collection is organized for B2B buyers selecting DTH hammers, bits, pipes and compatible components by drilling conditions and rig setup. Correct matching depends on the complete air and drilling system, not only the nominal hole diameter.

How to select: confirm the target hole diameter and depth, rock formation, rig and rotary-head setup, compressor pressure and airflow, hammer size or shank family, and drill-pipe connection. When replacing existing DTH equipment, current hammer and bit references are especially useful for checking compatibility. For new projects, the operating conditions can be reviewed together to narrow the suitable configuration before quotation. Where several hole sizes are planned, identify the main production range and any secondary requirements separately. This keeps hammer, bit and pipe matching clear across the requested setup.

Quantity, required spare components, packing, Incoterm and destination can then be aligned on the commercial side. If you have an existing DTH model, send the model and connection details. If the specification is still open, request a DTH technical recommendation and include the rig, compressor, hole target and rock condition.

Choose a DTH Tool Category

  • DTH Hammers: compare the current CIR50 to CIR150 low-pressure hammer references.
  • CIR150 Low-Pressure DTH Hammer: open the current CIR150 product reference directly when the project requires the larger low-pressure CIR family.
  • DTH Drill Bits: compare the current CIR50 to CIR150 button-bit references after confirming the hammer and shank.
  • DTH Drill Pipe: open the current 76 mm, API 2-3/8 REG product reference and confirm the complete pipe connection.
  • DTH Bit Selection: use this route when the exact shank, diameter, face, button or flushing configuration is not yet fixed.

APPLICATION-LED PRODUCT MATCHING

Build a DTH Tool Match from Air Supply to Bit and Drill Pipe

A DTH quotation should start with the rig, compressor and required hole, then confirm hammer pressure class and shank, bit diameter and face, drill-pipe outside diameter and thread, rock conditions, flushing and total drilling depth.

Information to include in your RFQ

  • Rig, compressor pressure and flow under load
  • Required hole diameter and depth
  • Current hammer brand/model and bit shank
  • Pipe outside diameter, thread and length
  • Rock conditions, flushing, quantity and destination

Send the application, current equipment or interface, required size, quantity and destination. PerfoMax will use those inputs to review compatibility before the commercial quotation.
