MF request boundary
If an MF speed rod is requested, the current MM length code must be cleared from the proposed order identity. The MF request must enter a separate configuration review and receive its own approved configuration ID.
Engineering and quotation outputs
Before technical approval, the controlled drawing must return the end style, length basis, rod body, flushing bore, matching shank adapter, coupling, bit, mass, tolerance and drawing revision. Buyer uncertainty may enter an inquiry but must not be converted into a guessed supplied value. Every technically approved T38 MM configuration must receive its own approved configuration ID; the current length reference must not be the sole order identity.
Inspection and NDT boundary
NDT is not included by default. If an NDT requirement is requested and expressly accepted in the written quotation, the method, applicable standard and edition, inspected quantity or batch scope, acceptance criteria or level, report requirement and lot traceability must be stated.
