H22 × 108 mm 11° Tapered Drill Rod for Hand-Held and Air-Leg Rock Drills
Model / SKU:PFM-H22TR
H22 × 108 mm tapered drill rod with an 11° bit connection and central flushing passage for compatible hand-held and air-leg rock drills.
A matched drill-string component that transfers impact and rotation from an H22 × 108 mm rock-drill interface to an 11° tapered bit. Effective length is selected for the required hole depth and working space.
Send the rock-drill model, H22 × 108 mm interface, required rod length, taper angle, bit diameter, quantity and delivery country.

Compatibility and Required Interfaces
Rock Drill
Rock drill with verified H22 × 108 mm chuck and striking interface
Shank cross section, shank length, collar and retention must match the delivered drill
YT28 and YT29A model families commonly use H22 × 108 mm interfaces, but the delivered chuck and supplier drawing must still be checked.
Tapered Drill Bit
Matching 11° tapered drill bit
Taper angle and socket must match exactly
Select bit diameter, button or chisel design and flushing arrangement according to hole size, rock condition and drilling system.
Drill-String Design
Matched 11° Taper Interface
The tapered end seats into a drill bit with the same taper angle to transfer impact and rotation through the rod-to-bit connection.
Buyer value
Creates a replaceable tapered drill-string interface for hand-held and air-leg drilling when the rod, bit and rock drill are correctly matched.
Selection condition
The rod and bit must both use the same 11° taper. Confirm the socket and taper using a drawing, gauge or physical sample.
Hollow Flushing Path and Collared Interface
The hollow rod provides a central passage for flushing while the collar locates the rod at the rock-drill interface.
Buyer value
Supports removal of cuttings and stable positioning in a complete tapered drilling system.
Selection condition
Confirm flushing medium, bore, rod length, collar position, straightness and rock-drill interface for the selected drilling system.
Application Scenarios
Hand-held and air-leg rock drilling with a verified H22 × 108 mm chuck
Small-diameter blast-hole drilling using a matched 11° tapered bit
Underground development, tunneling, quarrying and civil rock excavation
Replacement drill-string supply where the existing rod or drawing can be matched
Quality and Pre-Shipment Checks
01
Dimensional, Interface and Visual Inspection
Shank size, shank length, taper angle, effective length, collar position, straightness, flushing passage, surface condition and packing can be checked before export.
Inspection scope and tolerances depend on the approved drawing and the checks included in the quotation.
Inspection photos, dimensional records or material documents can be supplied when specifically included in the order.
Supply Scope, MOQ and Delivery
Available Supply Configurations
H22 × 108 mm / 11° tapered drill rods in the selected effective length
Matched 11° tapered bits when ordered as a set
Mixed-length rod package according to the approved quantity schedule
Export Packing
Rods can be bundled or packed in reinforced export cases with end protection and corrosion-control measures appropriate to the shipment. Final bundle quantity, case dimensions, gross weight, marks and shipping terms are confirmed in the formal quotation.
Safety and Maintenance Notes
Inspect the shank, collar, taper, straightness, flushing passage and surface condition before use. Do not mix taper angles. Replace rods showing cracks, severe bending, damaged collars, blocked flushing passages or an unsafe worn taper. Use correct lubrication, flushing, feed pressure and alignment, and follow the rock-drill manual and local occupational-safety requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
How should I choose the drill-rod length?
Provide the target hole depth, drilling direction, working space, preferred rod-handling method and current rod length. Effective length should be measured consistently from the collar to the bit end and confirmed on the quotation or drawing.
Can an 11° rod be used with a 7° or 12° bit?
No. The rod and bit taper angles must match exactly. Mixing taper angles can cause poor seating, energy loss, damage to the socket or taper and premature separation.
Is this rod compatible with YT28 or YT29A rock drills?
It can be selected for a YT28 or YT29A only when the delivered rock drill uses the required H22 × 108 mm striking interface and the collar and retention arrangement match. Confirm the chuck drawing, current rod or physical sample before order.
Matched Tapered Drilling System
A complete tapered drilling system can include the rock drill, H22 × 108 mm tapered rod in the required length, a matching 11° bit, lubricator, hoses, flushing supply and recommended wear parts. Every interface must be confirmed before order.
